We are seeking an individual experienced in establishment and analysis of animal models to support biologics drug discovery. The candidate should be familiar with a variety of in vivo handling techniques and skilled in ex vivo cell-based assays. As part of this team you will have the opportunity to play a key role in the discovery and development of novel immuno-oncology biotherapeutics.
Responsibilities:
- Cell line growth and characterization
- Syngeneic/xenograft tumor inoculation
- Tumor growth measurements
- Dosing of therapeutics
- Collection of bleeds and necropsy
- Ex vivo immune cell analysis
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related science field with 4+years of relevant in vivo experience in a biotech or industrial setting
- Extensive experience with in vivo mouse models, including implantable tumor models
- Hands-on expertise with orthotopic models preferred
- Experience with cell line work, flow cytometry and ELISA assays
- Ability to follow defined procedures and protocols
- Willingness to learn new research methods
- Strong attention to detail
- Great record-keeping, communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Demonstrated accountability and responsibility for own work
- Interest in working in a highly collaborative, fast paced and exciting biotech environment.
