Manufacturing Process Engineer | ClinLab Staffing

We have an exciting, new position for a manufacturing/materials processing engineer to manage the materials and related processing work order flow for highly complex, highly customized cryogenic products used by physicists for quantum research and other applications. Need to determine from part drawings the sequence of operations necessary for the successful manufacture of complex products. Expertise in company-wide materials flow is needed to help optimize processing systems related to the delivery of complicated parts and assemblies, of mostly one-of-a-kind systems, to the welding and lab functions on the manufacturing floor. Parts and assemblies must be delivered on-time, in an inspected and highly organized condition and fully complete. This hands-on position will work closely with various other managerial personnel, order processing, purchasing, as well as occasionally with external suppliers, based on materials-flow responsibilities.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience working in a fast-paced, custom product manufacturing environment, preferably for small to mid-sized companies is required. Also required is experience and training in blue-print reading, production systems, continuous improvement concepts, MRP systems, Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience with Macola ERP software would be highly beneficial. Prefer candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in a related manufacturing or engineering field, or equivalent hands-on work experience.
