Manufacturing Associate

Position Description:

This position requires to work within the production team to manufacture our sensor chips and  kit reagents, and to support process development programs for our production operations. A candidate needs to be detail oriented, follow SOPs and perform proper manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities:

·        The sensor chip production with our protein microarray platform

·        Coating and/or priming microsensor chips with our surface chemistry SOP

·        Antibody, buffers and reagents formulation

·        Perform quality control test, report results, and participate in troubleshooting if needed

·        Support process development programs to improve our production processes

·        Assist in authoring documentation for production process operations

·        Perform other production procedures as needed

Qualifications:

·        BS degree in Biochemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, or related discipline

·        Experience in immunoassay is a plus

·        Hands on experience with common benchtop tools/equipment (i.e., precision pipette, vacuum filtration unit, pH meter, conductivity meter, centrifuge, spectrophotometer, etc.)

·        Ability to learn new techniques and procedures

·        Detail oriented critical thinker to help improve the production processes

·        Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

·        Experience with protein microarray and cGMP environment is a plus
