Please Note: Must be able to perform manual differential and interpretation of Wright’s Stained Blood Smears
- Duties will include performing manual differentials of Wright’s stained bovine blood smears, as well as mastering the skill set to identify cells via our company’s markup tool on fluorescent images.
- Individual may take part in conducting research testing on blood samples, preparing blood smears, utilizing various company-specific instruments, coordinating samples, keeping track of different study results and analyzing data.
- Certification as an MT, MLT, MLS or RVT is required, with a strong emphasis on hematology.
- Knowledge and experience with large animal veterinary blood samples is preferred. Research skills, including fluorescent microscopy experience, are also desired in the candidate but not required.
